As a violinist/violist and improviser Leonor Falcón has had a truly interesting interdisciplinary career in New York city as a valuable addition in ensembles that are dedicated to Jazz, Avant-garde, Latin and Classical music such as Willie Colon’s band, Akua Dixon’s string quartet, Sirius Quartet, Camila Meza and the Nectar Orchestra, Mimi Jones and the Black Madonna, Karl Berger improvisers orchestra. She is also one of the founders of the Solar String Quartet which has performed on many venues across New York backing some truly exciting performers such as Mario Castro, Joanna Wallfisch and Julien Hucq among others.

Last fall of 2017 she released her debut album IMAGA MONDO under her own label Falcon Gumba Records.

Services Description

Currently, Leonor performs for corporate and private clients events with both the Solar String Quartet and with a guitar and violin duo along with her husband, guitarist Juanma Trujillo. With both groups a wide range of styles of music is offered: Classical pieces, pop and jazz standards and also accepts requests from clients if needed.

She's also a teacher with more than 10 years of experience on violin and viola for beginners to advance no matter the age.

At the same time, she offers recording services. After working for the Christian Howes recording company, doing arrangements and recording string sections for his clients, Leonor now owns an in-home studio which is expanding to record other instrumentations other than strings.
