Joe McCarthy, is a Latin Grammy award winning drummer/bandleader whose diverse career has included 20 years with The United States Naval Academy Band, national Broadway tours as drummer and percussionist, founder/leader/drummer of The Afro Bop Alliance Big Band, 2008 Latin Grammy Award winner for Latin Jazz Album fo the Year and nominated for the 52nd Grammy's in the same category.
