iconiQ Strings is a dynamic special events string ensemble performed in the tri-state area. Managed by BLC3Music Services, the versatile ensemble has been serenading audiences since 2010 and performs an eclectic mix of pop and classical pieces with core members from Local AFM 802. Our members meet in New York City and come from different backgrounds including Ohio State graduate cellist and arranger Bobbie Lee Crow III, Fischoff Competition-winning violinist Christina Bouey, Japanese award-winning violist Kiho Yutaka, touring guitarist Jeff McLaughlin, and award-winning pianist Yasuhiko Fukuoka.
Currently, iconiQ Strings performs for corporate and private social events such as weddings, receptions, and fundraisers. The group has performed for Academy Award-winning director Tom Hooper, Alberta Ferretti "Impulse" Collection for Macy's New York preview show, designer Tara Subkoff’s “Imitation of Christ” fashion show, Amazon's "Mozart in the Jungle," primetime CBS show "Elementary," and on singer-songwriter Blake Pfeil's "Wallpaper" debut album.
