Bio

Craig Klonowski, a life-long musician, performs on upright bass extensively across the greater tri-state area. His experience in performance spans more than 20 years. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Craig started his education at the Cleveland Institute of Music and the Cleveland Music School Settlement. He has his Bachelors of music education from The Ohio State University, and his Masters in Music Education from Cleveland State University, where he studied with Charles Carleton of the Cleveland Orchestra. He has traveled the world as a performer and has worked with ensembles including the College Light Opera Company, Springfield Symphony, Central Ohio Symphony, Lima Symphony, One World Symphony, Regina Opera Company, Litha Symphony, Queer Urban Orchestra, among others.

He is currently the principal double bass in the United Nations Symphony, maintains his own string ensemble (The Galactica String Quintet) and private studio, and teaches full time in the New York City public school system.
